The Capitol Pressroom Program for January 11, 2010
You can tell by the number of cars jockeying for space in the garage and the line for Green Mountain roasters coffee, that today is really the first day of session.
So today we talk with the reporters who have been covering the capitol for a collective 35 legislative sessions. First – Ken Lovett of the New York Daily News and Jimmy Vielkind of the Times Union will have analysis of the weekend’s news, and tell us what’s happening today at the capitol, and whether there’s even the slightest chance the coffee kiosk could run out of coffee. And then we’ll be joined by a woman who never needs coffee……Liz Benjamin of the New York Daily News. Liz is the hardest working reporter in the LCA, and she’ll be joining us to preview the legislative session.
