The Day of Reckoning has come – or so said Governor Paterson today during a press conference in New York City. The Governor again characterized as “selfish” the education interests who have filed suit against him over his decision to delay payments to localities. He called the Healthcare package moving toward passage in the US Senate “unfair” to NY, and informed reporters quote — “we have no problem being persuaded otherwise” regarding the DEC’s certification of drilling in the Marcellus Shale.
