The new Shale Resources and Society Institute at the State University of New York at Buffalo recently released its first study. Who funded it? UB says UB funded it. But Art Voice’s Buck Quigley reports it’s actually the UB Research Foundation, which isn’t subject to FOIL. In other words, we don’t really know who paid for the study. Buck joins us to discuss the issue.
Janice Gallagher is a Cornell Doctoral student working in collaboration with Mexico’s “Movement for Peace with Justice and Dignity”. She is back in the states for the summer coordinating the group’s US caravan. She will share something of her mission, and discuss the movement’s leader, Javier Sicilia.
