The Capitol Pressroom for August 23, 2011

Two members of the DEC’s “fracking” committee join us:  Binghamton Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo (D – 126th District) and Mark Boling, Executive Vice President for Southwestern Energy.
We remember anti-nuclear & environmental activist Nora Bredes with the help of the EPA’s Judith Enck, who is battling polluters in Region 2 as well as an anti-regulatory mood in Washington.
After several failed attempts (my fault), we catch up with the very patient and equally articulate Assemblyman Pete Lopez (R – 127th District, Catskill).
The last time Bill Farber joined us he promised to return with big news.  Farber, who is the Chairman of the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors and past President of the Adirondack Association of Towns and Villages will detail how two new pots of grant money will be spent in the Adirondack Park.
