The concept of a “sound, basic education” is again in the news. The Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in “Hussein et al v. State of NY” today. “Hussein” is better known as the Small Cities School Districts’ version of the CFE lawsuit. Billy Easton of the Alliance for Quality Education joins us along with the Superintendent of Niagara Falls City Schools, Cynthia Bianco to discuss why they are supportive of the lawsuit.
North Country Assemblymember Addie Russell presents her view of the school equity issue.
