Redhouse Rock Camp

Redhouse Rock Camp is a three-week intensive music camp that teaches students what it takes to be in a band. Campers receive instrumental and vocal instruction, attend seminars on various music-industry related topics, and form bands. By the end of the camp, the bands perform original songs for the public. The second session’s Rockfest concert will be on Friday, August 19th at 6 P.M. on the Redhouse stage. Tickets will be $5 at the door.¬†Marguerite Mitchell-Sundberg talks with Rock Camp instructors Kevin Dean, Seth Horan, Emmett Van Slyke, Rita Worlock and Parker McQueeney as they reveal the secret of the program…an energetic, nurturing, knowledgeable group of people who love what they do. ¬†She also speaks with young musicians Steven Williams, Jesse Williams, Hannah Manning, and Noah Schoeneck.
