Live at Noon with Matt Russo, trombone
Today on WCNY-FM, ”Live at Noon” featured Matt Russo, a finalist in the International Trombone Association Alto Trombone Competition. Matt will travel to Paris July 4 – 7 for the finals, but he stopped-by our studios first to play a bit of the adjudication piece by Leopold Mozart. Matt’s former high school teacher Stephen Paparo (now, an Assistant Professor of Music Education at UMass Amherst) collaborated at the piano. Here is audio of Matt’s visit to our studios.
