12/16/11 SHOW: WHAT THE PRESIDENT SHOULD HAVE SAID ABOUT THE END OF THE WAR IN IRAQ; WHY SOME OF US AVOID FACEBOOK

On this week’s show the panelists say the things President Obama cannot say, or chooses not to say, as he ends U.S. participation in the nine-year war in Iraq.  We assess what was accomplished and what the chances are that the country will become the beacon of democracy in the Middle East that was the hope of President Bush.  Then, in light of the fact that 200 million Americans are on Facebook, but many of the Ivory Tower panelists are not, we discuss the appeal of this technology and why some of us avoid it.  Join in the conversation by posting a comment on what you heard.
